What you should know about FEF Rentals:

Forest Echo Farm is owned by a cooperative group of Quakers and like-minded families and individuals who are committed to the values of simple living and the preservation of our environment.

Forest Echo cabins offer a relaxing retreat at a reasonable cost. We do not offer a 'housekeeping' service, but instead ask you to leave the cabin in the condition in which you find it. Please sweep the floor and take your trash and recyclables to John and Mary Diane for disposal. Please place compost in the buckets provided, NOT in the woods or outhouse. There is a checklist in the kitchen of each cabin that will answer your questions and give you more details.

Our caretakers, John and Mary Diane are here to answer your questions and see to any maintenance or repairs that need attention. Please don't hesitate to contact them if there is anything that they can do to make your vacation more pleasant.

Each of three cabins offers a world of its own, though none are far from the other Farm amenities. The Farm Pond offers a refreshing ‘dip’ to cool off, and children will enjoy the play structure and sand box on the lawn of the Farmhouse. A short hike from each cabin leads to Tiny Pond, a ¾ mile long unspoiled lake where a canoe and raft are available. Swimming, sunning, fishing, or exploring the lake shore provide hours of excitement or tranquility, or some of each! Hiking trails for moderate or ambitious hikers are available. In addition to local trails, the Long Trail and Appalachian Trail are nearby.

Each of the cabins offers a fully equipped kitchen, hot and cold running water and LP gas lamps. The supply of beds and furniture is adequate for most families. For more details, please visit the cabin information page.
