Cabin Availability and Rates

We are accepting reservations for cabin rentals May 28 through October 15, 2024

• View Rental Agreement - one adult will need to sign this upon arrival; all members and guests of the rental party are bound by the agreement
• View Dog policies and Forest Echo Pet Waiver - if you bring a dog, one adult will need to sign this upon arrival

2024 Rates - Same rates since 2015!
Vermont has raised its meals & room tax starting August 1, 2024.  So any reservations made as of June 22, 2024 for a date starting at or after August 1, 2024 will be charged the new tax rate of 12%.  

Both cabins are the same rate.

Ripley Hill Cabin (accommodates up to ​8 people)
Cold Spring Cabin (accommodates up to 4 people)

Weekly (7 consecutive days)
$603.55 + 12% VT taxes = $675.98
Daily 
$90 + 12% VT taxes = $100.80

How to Rent a Cabin
1.      Check the calendar at the end of this page for cabin availability. Refresh the page for most up-to-date calendar.
2.      Email  our rental coordinator, Linda, with your preferred dates. Please wait for Linda to verify availability, then send full payment.
3.      We will hold your reservation for 7 days while waiting for your payment via PayPal online or personal check
​         sent to the address Linda provides to you.
4.      Your dates will be released if full payment is not received within 7 days.
5.      Look for your reservation code on the calendar below.

Confirm your dates with Linda via email before sending payment.

We usually respond to email within approximately 24 hours.

We accept payments via PayPal as well as checks, payable to Forest Echo Farm.

For reservations starting on or after August 1, 2024. Includes 12% VT tax. 

You will be able to add days and weeks once you are in the PayPal cart (you will need to click the 'Add to Cart' button first.)

The Details
    Check-in: 2:00pm to 5:00pm  (later arrival times by special arrangement)
    Check-out: 12:00pm

• Two nights minimum.
• No charge for dogs. No cats or other animals allowed. View our pet policy.
• Ripley Hill is limited to 8 people and Cold Spring is limited to 4 people. No additional guests. 
• Full payment due within 7 days of reservation.
• Reservations unconfirmed within 7 days will not be honored.
• All rates and policies are subject to change without notice on this web site.
• We reserve the right to refuse service.
• Early departure will forfeit payment.
• No smoking in the cabins.
• No housekeeping, please leave a clean cabin for the next guests. (see COVID cleaning info)
• There is no available electricity to charge your devices or WiFi at the cabins. Everything is gas, wood, solar, or hand powered.

Cancellation Policy

• 30+ days prior to arrival date will receive an 85% refund.
• 15-29 days prior to arrival date will receive a 50% refund.What to Bring
• 7-14 days prior to your arrival date will receive a 25% refund.
• Cancellations received less than one week to arrival date will forfeit payment.
• Early departure will forfeit payment.
