Rent a Cabin at Forest Echo
Forest Echo Farm, in Mt. Holly, Vermont, offers an escape to the wilderness within a comfortable, rustic setting. Forest Echo Farm was a working farm in the 1800s. Today, our cabins provide you with a vacation spot amidst 360 acres of Vermont forest and meadows. On-leash dogs are welcome.
Ripley Hill Cabin
sleeps 8
Cold Spring Cabin
sleeps 4
Each of the cabins offers a world of its own, though none are far from the other Farm amenities.
The Farm Pond offers a refreshing ‘dip’ to cool off. A hike from each cabin leads to Tiny Pond, an unspoiled lake where a canoe, kayak and raft are available for your use. (See specific cabin descriptions for estimated walking times between Forest Echo features.) Swimming, sunning, fishing, or exploring the lake shore provide days of excitement or tranquility, or some of each! Hiking trails are on the property. In addition to local trails, the Long Trail and Appalachian Trail are nearby.

About the Flooding in July 2023
The local area sustained significant damage; we have donated to the Black River Good Neighbor Services to support the community after the flooding. If you wish to help, you can do so too.
Forest Echo weathered the storm well. We experienced some road damage on the property and heading up Sawyer Hill Road to the Farm. Both have been repaired. We are grateful to the crews who dug everyone out and repaired infrastructure.
